My name is Lisa Gajewski, and I have been volunteering with Victory Flows since March 2016. Serving with Arise Special Needs Ministry at Irving Bible Church led me to Victory Flows, and I was able to get to know Cheryl Hood more by spending a weekend with her at Jill’s House. Volunteering with Victory Flows brings me an incredible amount of much joy. The kids and young adults with special needs are so sweet, and I love being able to give their parents some respite from their busy lives.
Let’s face it though—I’m here for the Talent Show and the trophies.
I’m a proud graduate of Texas A&M University (WHOOP!), where I majored in business and minored in professional writing. I have worked in commercial real estate since 2004, and I also run my own business, LG Editing. I am so lucky that my family is close by, especially my precious niece. In my spare time, I love watching football (NY Giants/Texas A&M) and baseball (Texas Rangers) as well as reading mystery thrillers.
My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 62:1-2. “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” May the Lord, my rock, keep me steady!
